Software QA & Testing Meetup – May 2015 Meetup Scheduled

Software QA & Testing Meetup

Attention Ohio Testers:

Last month’s meeting was full of so much great discussion that we were unable to cover the topic entirely.  Our meetup group decided to continue the conversation in May.

Topic: Interviewing & Hiring for Software Testing Jobs- Part 2

How do you hire a good tester? This will be an exchange of hiring techniques: what has worked well and what hasn’t.

What types of questions do you ask when hiring mid level testers, senior testers, and automation testers?

Expectations for those being interviewed?

We can talk about what’s easy to see during an interview and what’s not.

Bring your experiences, stories, tips, questions, advice, and resources.  This evening will be entirely a discussion based format.

For all of the details for this meetup and to RSVP, be sure to visit the Software QA & Testing Meetup on meetup.com.  If you are going to be in the Columbus area, we would love to see you there!

Here is a list of other “testing happenings” scheduled so far for the month of May in the Ohio area:

5/21 – Dublin, Ohio – COQAA – QA Roundtable: The State of Quality Assurance in Central Ohio hosted by John Shane – http://coqaa.org/id1.html
